Tone City Sweet Cream is a quite transparent overdrive with smooth-sounding and full of dynamics like amp-like response.
In the version 2025, there are a TONE knob and toggle switch added. The Tone knob helps you to adjust the brightness, and the toggle switch gets you from two different clipping modes. switching to the right to get the original version tone, turning to the left to get a slightly higher distortion with more sense of compression.
It helps you control the gain you want and push the distortion channel of the amp to make the distortion more plump.
So it work wonderfully for adding low-gain grit to a clean signal, also stacks well with other drive pedals to achieve huge, rich distorted tones.
